In the event, the abduction of a young person, a child or person has taken place, question is, do we have an effective system to quickly mobilise all our resources to prevent the worst from happening. Does our country have an efficient child abduction alert system that is benchmarked against internationally accredited models, for example the Amber Alert established in Texas, USA in 1996?
